tonight mom and i had the opportunity to visit with some dear friends! amy hall-carr and i have been friends since kindgergarten!!! she was my first very best friend! :) her sister lives in the valley and amy had come to visit! how fun it was to catch up after over 15 years of not seeing each other!! from left to right: marianne, alice, amy, sally and me!
wahoo! let the countdown begin!!! this morning when i came into work this is what i saw!! the birthday banner up and a fabulous countdown chain by my desk! i get to take one link off everyday!! in case you didn't know... I LOVE MY BIRTHDAY!!!! 17 days! wahoo!
we just got a Texas Roadhouse in logan!!!! i can't wait to go!!! the great thing about this particular one is that 100% of all profit is donated to charity!!! the only one of its kind in the US! i want to frequent this place often to show my support! i sure hope it is a huge success!
this morning i needed to be in murray at 5am for their inventory. so we decided we would get a hotel on our way home from visiting sam. we stayed at a Stay America, and it was ok. nothing too fancy. the crazy thing was that right after i fell asleep some annoying loud noise started coming out of the a/c unit!!! it sounded like an alarm of some kind. to be honest, we still aren't sure what happened, but it happened twice!!! ya... i woke up tired today!!
i also found a bunch of these pencils while i was cleaning the basement yesterday! my little brother is samuel hawkin carroll and my mom had these made for him when he started school. it was fun to find them! today we went to go visit sam and i brought him a few of these! he loved them! what good memories!
i was cleaning out the basement today and i found a box of old mementos! this was a keychain that i used back in my teen years! it is my best friend and i next to my first car... that she bought me! :) she was, and is, the best friend in the world!
annie always wears the coolest socks! this is one of my favorite pairs!! but they are starting to get holes in the heels, so this was the final day they were to be worn. i had to take a picture and document the occasion! :) farewell, cute fishy socks! we will miss you!

it is so nice to have this giant tractor in front of my house... digging a giant hole in the road... so i can't get in or out of my driveway. nice.
my face needed some attention... :) so i decided to pamper it a tad. love the feeling of a mask!!
after putting all of our dvd's in the big binder yesterday... now i have a million cd cases! guess kevin won't need to buy anymore for awhile!
i decided that our dvd collection was in great need of a makeover! so i went and bought a giant cd case and pull all of our movies in it! alphabetically, of course! :) it is going to be soooooooooooo much nicer!
wendee's daughter, hallee, and i, have become great friends! today i was surprised when wendee brought me this gift bag full of gifts from hallee! oh how i love this little girl! she is so sweet!
kevin is so funny! the other day he was making some pretty funny faces and when i pulled out my camera he decided to hide under his shirt! ha! makes me smile, this boy of mine does! :)
it rained today. can you tell? i didn't wear a coat to work and by the time i got to my car i was SOAKED!! i had to take this picture when i got home just to prove how wet i really was!
happy birthday to mom and kristine!! today is my moms birthday and the 16th is kristines! we had a fun day... went to ogden and met annie and julie at their hotel for swimming, then went over to red lobster for a yummy lunch! then headed back to logan for a party at maryann's house! what a fun day!
today we all went over to brigham city for the annual peach days parade. it is always so fun! the parade is a long one and the craft booths are fun to walk around and look at! this year, in honor of kevin, i took a picture of the star wars charactors... not sure what they were for... but that is ok. it is the thought that counts! :)
sure enough!! it worked! mmmm! i love it when i actually do something cool! go me! (and thanks to my mom for putting it all in jars while i was at work! )
