i love the logan temple! it is such a beautiful place! i heard once that the pioneers built it to look like a castle to help represent the safety and peace you can feel from within the walls.

these homemade flowers were made my a little boy! we were trying to find parking for a community celebration and there was this cute little boy standing on his street corner selling these flowers he made for $1 a piece! i couldn't resist buying one of each color! i love them!

i am so proud of my girls! allie and melissa are on the high school girls lacrosse team! last year they started a team by finding girls that were interested, finding a coach and figuring out how to raise money for uniforms! this is their second year and they are doing well! the measure of success isn't always wins... but these girls have the motivation to conquer anything!

this silver ball has been passed between my best friend and i for many years. we call it our friendship ball... every now and again we fill it with something fun and give it to each other! this is what i filled it with for her this time! letter sticky notes and a palm tree punch. fun huh?

today kevin and i went on a double date with jeff and bethanie. it was sooo fun! we went to cafe sabor for dinner and then back to jeff's house to play games! one of the funnest games we played was... eat it!! tons of laughs! after a couple of hours of board games we played wii... well, i "tried" to play ... they all kicked my butt!! ha!

i have been collecting apple stuff for almost 8 years. i was feeling really sick everytime i got thinking about the stresses in my life... i was engaged- trying to plan a wedding, a manager of a hallmark store with demanding owners, my brother was not doing well... the list goes on! i would try to think of something that wasn't related to any of the stresses in my life! the only thing i could think of was apples! i would close my eyes and imagine a white bowl filled with granny smith apples. it wasn't linked to anything else in my life... therefore... i didn't feel sick! and that's how the collection started! now, my kitchen is filled with apples! :)

so i totally love my birthday! i love surprises too! well, this week i celebrated my "HALF BIRTHDAY"! i have never really thought about my HALF BIRTHDAY before... but my friend, jeff, remembered! he surprised me today with my very own HALF BIRTHDAY celebration!

he brought me a hannah montana balloon, (so fun!) HALF gallon of chocolate milk, HALF dozen donuts, HALF bottle of sprite, HALF of a donut and HALF dozen candles! it was truly one of the nicest things anyone has every done for me! i loved it! :)

i love it when kevin has a freshly shaved head! i think he is so cute! today he accidentally cut his head while he was shaving... poor guy... very cute band aid though! too bad we didn't have any transformer or spider man band aids! :)

today a very good friend of mine had her baby. micheal was born 17 weeks early. he weighed 1 lb. 6 oz. he is a fighter and we are praying that he will grow to be big and strong!

what a fun surprise! these 3 cuties came to show me there amazing skills! apparently bethanie took a nap and when she woke up her younger siblings had painted her face. they decided to make the most of it! hee hee!

tonight was bunco! i ended up having the highest score!! so fun! i love bunco!

about 2 years ago i was invited to sub for a bunco group in my neighborhood and i loved it! i wanted to play so bad i decided to start a group of my own! we have a great group and i look forward to it every month!

this is my water bottle for work... i think its a 1/2 gallon! my original plan was to drink 2 of these a day... and then reality set in... i am lucky to drink 2 of these a week! :)

i keep it on my desk at work, so its a constant reminder that i need to keep drinking more water!

April 11, 2009do you love my blue milk! mom even made green pancakes!!! that is one of my favorite things about any holiday! you get to dye the milk! and color the food! lol! the first year kev and i were married i dyed the milk too! i also made easter egg shaped pancakes! but i dyed the batter 3 different colors! and even made little zig zags with alternating colors! he thought i had lost it! oh well... he still loves me... i hope! :)
