my poor kevin was getting his stuff ready for work early this morning and missed the bottom step by our back door! he totally rolled his ankle! poor guy! i feel so bad for him! he is going to be out of work for a few days, to allow it to heal. on the bright side... now i get to spend more time with him! :)
kevin and i got corn at the market today for dinner! it was so good! one of the cobs was crazy! like kernels only every other spot! so, mom made a corn bouquet! i thought it was quite cute!
i bought gummy worms for my road trip yesterday and accidentally left them in the car! well, now we know what happens to cheap gummy worms in a hot car in july!! ha! melted mess!!!
i love the dollar store! i love that you can get just about anything... for a $1 !!!! i frequent this store often!!
today is the first day of a week long vacation that i am taking off from work! i decided to go spend today with my cute baker friends! jon and ruth were in the same married student ward when kevin and i first got married. we became fast friends! at that time they only had taya. braiden was born while they were still in logan. isaac and landon were born after they moved! i love these kids! they melt me! i am so grateful for ruth and our friendship! she is amazing! we had a fabulous day together! :)
i love scentsy! they have the best smells for my home! this is just what i have right now... but am hoping to get more soon! :)
today was the pioneer day parade and celebration! we went to the parade and then headed off to the willow park zoo to wander around! i couldn't resist this shot of everyone checking out the cute little duckies!! :) ha!
i love boyd's bears! these 2 little girls are very representative to ann and i back in the day! living in different states and being best friends , is hard! thank goodness for phones! :) i love these piece and it brings back such great memories!
i went to the dentist today for the first time in a really long time! it went pretty well, the staff was nice and i wasn't as nervous as i thought i was going to be! i am going to get a mouth guard to help with my snoring and gritting my teeth while i am sleeping! i am excited about that! :)
kevin and i went to lunch today at a new restaurant in town called the beehive grill. very tasty! they make homemade gelato and it is a fun little treat as we are leaving! well... it was a hot day! and they melted a tad on the way home! geez! oh well, they still tasted delicious! :)
i love pringles!! and now at sam's club we have these little individual packs of them! they are perfect for my lunches!!
i love that these wipes are at the gas pumps!!! with the swine flu scare recently i can't help but be cautious with everything! and... with ann being a germ freak too! :) anyway... i don't touch anything anymore without wiping it down first! the gas pumps, the grocery carts... you name it! i carry wipes and hand sanitizer in my purse all the time! :)
this gal cracks me up! wendee and i work at sam's club together! she is in our claims dept and is so funny! :)
i love netflix! we had a good time watching all of these movies!! kevin and i each have our own queue and we each get 2 movies at a time! feels good to mail them back... then the anticipation begins to get the new ones back!
kevin and i love to go to olive garden! nothing beats all you can eat salad and breadsticks! mmmmmm! we were soooo excited when we got one in logan a few years back! :)
with everything that happened in june and then inventory stuff... i haven't really been able to go to young women's very much! :( tonight i got this cute card with a plate of cookies on my door! it is so sweet to know that them miss me.
a few days ago i was helping a guy at work load a huge desk box onto a cart. however, he didn't wait to me to get to him to help and i caught the box with my thigh!! pretty bruise huh? ya. didn't feel to great! owie!
i used to keep my salt and pepper up on top of my stove, but they would always fall off and spill stuff all over my stovetop! so i went on a search for the perfect little basket to put them in! wala! i found this one at hobby lobby (gotta love that place!) and i think it is great! i hung it on my fridge with magnetic hooks! just what i wanted! :)
INVENTORY!!!! it is done! it has been so stressful trying to pull it all together! i have been so busy with everything that the letters are rubbing off my name badge!! even the "6" years of service is all rubbed off! geez! maybe now i can have a minute or 2 to make a new badge! ha! oh! and we did really well today! best dollar difference in the region and the 3rd with our percentage! good job! i am so proud of my team: ann and colleen. i couldn't have done it without them!
today... work!! twice! i worked in the morning and then turned around and went back at night!! inventory is tomorrow and i am feeling the stress! i had to sneak a little time for this yummy treat! gotta love aggie blue mint ice cream! mmmmm... hit the spot!!
